Urban electric bike 250W with removable 499.2 Wh battery, range up to 90 km, 55 Nm torque. 700c tyres, suspension fork, hydraulic brakes, Shimano 7-speed transmission, open step-through frame.
Ideal for daily commutes, urban comfort and excellent value for money.
The Fiido C11 is an urban electric bike designed for daily commuting with excellent value for money. An evolution of the D4S, it incorporates improvements requested by users: removable battery, hydraulic brakes and redesigned comfort.
Its 250 W motor develops 55 Nm of torque, offering powerful and responsive assistance. The 48 V 10.4 Ah (499.2 Wh) battery is removable and certified, with a claimed range of up to 90 km – expect 60–70 km in real mixed-use conditions. Hydraulic disc brakes, suspension fork, Shimano 7-speed transmission and open step-through frame make it particularly suited to urban cyclists of all profiles. The rear rack (25 kg capacity) and mudguards are included, and a front basket is available as an option. At £799, it's one of the best value complete and certified e-bikes on the market.
✔ Excellent value for money – full equipment for under £800
✔ Hydraulic disc brakes – safety and consistent braking power
✔ Removable 499.2 Wh battery – generous range (up to 90 km claimed)
✔ Shimano 7-speed transmission – versatility in town and on hills
✔ Open step-through frame – easy mounting, ideal for everyone
✔ Rear rack and mudguards included – ready for urban use
✔ Suspension fork – comfort on poor road surfaces
✔ CE/UKCA/UL certified – clear and unambiguous EU compliance
❌ High weight: 24.5 kg – heavy to carry or lift up stairs
❌ Real-world range: expect 60–70 km in mixed use, less than the 90 km claimed (based on user feedback)
❌ Cadence sensor (not torque) – less natural assistance than premium models
❌ 700c tyres relatively thin – limited comfort on heavily damaged paths
❌ Standard design – less premium than carbon belt models (ADO Air 28, Tenways)
❌ Partial assembly required on delivery – may need some handiwork
Against the ADO Air 28 (£1,039, carbon belt, torque sensor, 21–23 kg), the Fiido C11 is £240 cheaper but heavier (24.5 kg), with a cadence sensor (less natural) and chain transmission (more maintenance). Real-world range is comparable (~70 km).
Against the Tenways CGO600 (£1,119, belt, torque sensor, 19 kg), the C11 is more accessible but less lightweight and premium. However, it features a 7-speed derailleur (vs single-speed on Tenways) – more versatile on hills.
Against the Engwe Engine X (£1,039, folding fat bike), the C11 is more pure urban-focused, less versatile off-road but more conventional and clearly EU certified.
✅ Clear CE certification: Fiido offers the C11 with CE/UKCA certification, 250 W nominal motor, 25 km/h maximum speed, and no throttle. The brand communicates clearly on compliance, allowing unambiguous legal use on public roads.

❌ you're looking for a lightweight bike (< 22 kg) to carry regularly
❌ you want a torque sensor for ultra-natural assistance (look at ADO Air 28 or Tenways, more expensive)
❌ you regularly ride on heavily damaged paths (700c tyres are too thin)
❌ you need more than 80 km real-world range per charge
❌ you prefer maintenance-free transmission (carbon belt)
